A medium roast of arabica beans from Batak Region of West-Central Sumatra, Aceh, with notes of macademia, milk chocolate and red grape.
Sumatra Mandheling coffee is grown on the lofty, rich volcanic slopes of Mount Leuser, in the Batak region of West-Central Sumatra. Six Four Coffee’s is Grade 1-Triple-Picked – hand-picked three times for defects – to deliver the highest quality assurance and consistency in each cup.
The arabica beans are processed via a process known as Giling Basah – or “wet hulling”. This process, unique to the region, contributes to the coffee’s extremely full body, concentrated, yet low-acidity flavour, with herbal nuances and a spicy, chocolatey finish. The richness lingers in the palate long after each sip.
